Finding Agents (and Cons) (and Editors) in 2011

I wanted to tell you about this: Where The Agents Are In 2011.

Vonna Carter created a list of 2011 Children's Writing Conferences including which agents will attend each con. It's not absolute of course, but I know she's been adding to it as she's learned of new cons/agent attendance. If you're considering going to a conference this year, or trying to figure out where to meet agents--Vonna's list is an excellent starting point!

And, she's also got one listing which editors will be at which cons this year!

The links are above, but if you ever forget and don't feel like scrolling through my posts to find it, I added it to my "Resources for Writers" tab at the top of the screen.

And speaking of cons...

    Thanks for the info. For the last several years, I attended the NESCBWI conference. It's been great for connections and feedback.

    Thanks for the info! I plan to go to the James River Writers Conference again this year. Last year was fantastic and so much fun.

    I plan on going to WFC, because Simon is making me. So I will see you there!

    But I'm mostly going just to meet writers. I'm too scared of agents.

    I shall be at World Fantasy Convention in San Diego too
    and
    WorldCon AKA Renovation in Reno, NV (The big science fiction convention.)

    Both are closer, and therefore easier for me to make. Can't wait to see you and any of the other UFGirlz that make it.
