CHANNING TATUM, Plus: Karen, Katy, Literary Rambles . . .

MAY I TELL YOU ABOUT CHANNING TATUM???

So this happened:

And then I became really popular with retweeters for a day. It was fun.

I mean, I know it's a small thing. One little retweet.

But, um, Channing Tatum tweeting me?

Made me giddy

I've loved him since Step Up and see every movie he's in.

(I don't even care if it was his marketing people or whatever either. In my mind? Me and Channing had a conversation twitter moment that will last forever.)

Next up? Ryan Gosling. I now have faith that it could happen. And maybe Adam Levine. And Jared Leto.

Okay, and even cooler news?

Karen Hooper's book, Grasping at Eternity, comes out tomorrow!

Leave it to Maryah Woodsen to break the one rule that will screw up eternity: Never erase your memories.

Before entering this life, Maryah did the unthinkable—she erased. Now, at seventeen years old, she’s clueless that her new adoptive family has known her for centuries, that they are perpetually reincarnated souls, and that they have supernatural abilities. Oh, and she's supposed to love (not despise) Nathan, the green-eyed daredevil who saved her life.

Nathan is convinced his family’s plan to spark Maryah's memory is hopeless, but his love for her is undying. After spending (and remembering) so many lifetimes together, being around an empty version of his soulmate is heart shattering. He hates acting like a stalker, but has no choice because the evil outcast who murdered Maryah in their last lifetime is still after her.

I've already posted about this novel, but you guys. Please, please get it and fall in love the way I did. You can thank me after you've stayed up way too late to finish the story, okay?

Find Grasping at Eternity on Amazon or Barnes and Noble!

And in other news, there are some cool books and ARCs up for grabs in contests!!

  2. I just swooned to the moon and back. I L.O.V.E. Channing Tatum. Oh and I am soooo going to go see Magic Mike. Have you seen the new Entertainment Weekly? Him and Joe Manganiello (Alcide for True Blood) have got to be the two hottest men on the planet. Thanks for the post, you made my day!

  3. What's a magic Mike? And I'm kind of amazed they found your tweet, with no #hashtag and no @mention. Pretty cool.

However, ahem, I think Carol has Jared Leto on lock.

    1. LOL. Magic Mike is a movie in which Channing (and several other ridiculously hot actors) are strippers. Yes, please.

And, Carol may be more VOCAL about Jared, but it doesn't make my love any less strong ;)

  5. I thought about challenging you to a duel over Channing but then you posted about my book releasing, so I guess I'll let it slide that you talked to my boyfriend. SO JEALOUS.

  8. Something tells me that Tweet doesn't refer to the old Magic Mike toy robot of the Eighties, which I had and loved. I'm so far out of the loop when it comes to modern pop culture.

  10. Wow. You are serious. Channing Tatum! He makes me feel like I am a dirty-old-woman but my my my he is GORGEOUS! I can't even imagine him sitting at his computer with my twitter icon photo smiling back at him and then... well, do you think he likes cougars? LOL.

My blog entry for the challenge is a profile of a woman even older than me, so there you have it.... :~)

I am glad to be back for another day of the Blogfest. It, and YOU!, make me happy!

I have to say I agree with you. I've been drooling over Matthew McConaughey since I saw A Time to Kill long ago. And the rest of the cast. YOW!
